Our Lord is risen! Our Lord, Jesus Christ is risen indeed! Praise Him our Almighty Lord!

A second chance in life has taken me through a different journey with our Lord Jesus Christ. I used to be a Sunday parishioner, complacent and taking life for granted until that day, 18th September 2014. My experience with God has touched my life to witness how real and alive God is. I hardly had time for God but He was there with me when I had my heart attack.

Ignorantly, the last minor attack came around 12 midnight, 18th September. I was not aware how serious it was until my wife, Catherine, rushed me to Island Hospital. The second and deadly major attack came when I was at the operating room right in the good hands of Dr Chew (Dr Chew says that he was there because God made it happen). My heart went into ventricular fibrillation and my heart stopped for a minute. God was there to intervene, making available the cardiologist and AED machine to bring me back to life with an uneventful outcome.

I could have become a ‘vegetable’ thereafter, paralysed or with a weak heart. God gave me back my life with a new and strengthened heart (after 3 stents to my right and left arteries with 90%-100% blockage). I stand to testify how loving and awesome Our Lord God is!
