A second chance in life has taken me through a different journey with our Lord Jesus Christ. I used to be a Sunday parishioner, complacent and taking life for granted until that day, 18th September 2014. My experience with God has touched my life to witness how real and alive God is. The pain when my feet touched the ground was so excruciating that it felt as if my bone would shatter into pieces. I was admitted to the hospital where the doctors suspected an autoimmune disorder that had caused my body to shut down. <\/span>Our Church was celebrating its feast day, Divine Mercy Sunday on 27th April 2014. As I knelt down to pray before mass, my gaze was drawn to the tabernacle. My focus was on what looked like the letter P and I wondered what it meant. As I stared at it, I heard the Lord say to me, \u201cI am truly present in the Eucharist. On February 22nd 2015 some 20 pilgrims led by Fr. Martin headed to Poland to collect the 1st class relic of St Faustina. While there, they went on a week-long pilgrimage that included the birthplace of St John Paul II and also the concentration camp in Auschwitz among other Holy monuments and shrines.<\/p> \r\n\r\n

My dad was diagnosed with cancer and his condition was very bad. The doctor had given him only a few months to live and he suffered all through the treatment. We prayed for strength and patience for him to endure the pain and suffering while waiting for God to heal him. Bit by bit he became well again, although he was near death almost 3 times and was given the final rites sacrament.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
