Mercy From The Cross

When the dark clouds come rolling by,

Sending waves that touch the sky,

Tossing your boat, in the stormy tide of life,

You cried out “O Lord, do not leave me in vain,’

For you have been shunned, a leper and a misfit,

By your very own as in days of old.

Welcoming death you open your arms,

To embrace it,

But the good Lord, full of love and mercy,

Sends his grace and his strength,

To let you bear fruit, in abundance,

To be his missionary and carrier of the Good News,

Touching the hearts and the lives of people,

To put back the smile, to wipe away the tears,

That every heavy heart labored in agony,

Will seek His love and divinity,

His mercy that stretches out from the cross at Calvary.

I know because I have walked my Delarosa with him.
