Greetings of Peace.
As a follow on to ‘Mercy in this time of Pandemic’ reflection on Saturday, the invitation now is to move forward in reaching out with action . The Serve in Mercy Wall has been set up in our CDM Garden of Mercy.
Now it’s time to set the wheels in motion and get going, to Believe, Live and Give in Mercy.
We have set up a “Serve in Mercy” taskforce to oversee and ensure the smooth launch of this initiative.
We will be communicating essential information to all BEC and Ministry leaders that will help steer you in navigating how the Serve In Mercy Initiative works.
To begin we will provide:

1. Dialogue with ministry and BEC leaders to communicate objectives of Serve in Mercy wall and expectations of your role in sharing this information with members as well as driving the move to incorporate Works of Mercy as a core value in your groups.
2. An email address linked to private queries that can’t be addressed to leaders about the Serve In Mercy Wall – cdmmercy@gmail.com
3. A WhatsApp contact number which is for private and confidential sharing -011 11071770
4. CDM Website information – Virtual wall, Testimonies etc. at www.cdm.my
5. Leaders’ Resource Document with relevant Government/NGO help line, go-to contact numbers and web addresses for sites that you can go to whether for specific help on foodbanks, counselling or more.
6. Drop off dry food items in Mercy baskets from 9am to 1pm at the Garden of Mercy

You may also start sending in your proposals, testimonies and outreach efforts whether through your BEC or Ministry leaders to share on our Serve in Mercy Wall.
To get this initiative going we seek the help of all Ministry and BEC leaders to meet with their respective teams to address the following question.
“How can my Ministry/ BEC incorporate a work of mercy that can be carried out progressively this year?”
Communication with BEC Leaders will happen tomorrow on the 1st of June and a separate meeting with Ministry Leaders will be arranged to discuss proposals from Ministry heads.
